What is Celadrin cream used for?

Celadrin® cream is a topical analgesic. The cream can be used to support muscular health and joint mobility. It is good for muscle and joint pains and can be applied to all joints including the arms, legs and back, and has been shown to be effective at reducing pain and improving functional performance in the knee, elbow, wrist and hand joints in particular.

Celadrin® is a natural anti-inflammatory product. Clinical studies show that it benefits safely and without side effects. It is made from a patented blend of esterified fatty acid carbons, and works similar to, but more effectively than the essential fatty acids from fish oils - EPA and DHA.

Celadrin® cream can be used as a natural alternative to NSAIDS and allows you to target specific areas. Rubbed into sore and aching joints twice a day it can provide fast relief from osteoarthritis, strains, bruises and sprains. The cream can also be used alongside Celadrin® capsules.

Previously Celadrin® was largely obtained from bovine sources, but now many plant-based sources have emerged with a fatty acid complex identical in structure to the bovine form and shown to be equally effective. This has widened its appeal as a product that it is now a suitable option for vegetarians and vegans.

Celadrin® is backed by studies that have demonstrated its effectiveness…

One study of 42 patients with osteoarthritis showed that celadrin cream greatly improved patients’ functionality, and they experienced less pain and stiffness in their knees just 30 minutes after use. [1].

Another study of 72 patients with chronic neck pain found that using Celadrin cream twice daily alongside physical therapy reduced pain and improved neck mobility. [2].

In a study with 40 patients suffering with osteoarthritis of the knee, those treated with Celadrin cream for 30 days showed increased standing stability over treatment with a placebo. [3].

Celadrin® is often used in conjunction with Glucosamine which is another common supplement used by people in the treatment of osteoarthritis. Partnered they may have complementary effects.
